How We Handle Your Data

The short, plain-language version. For the full legal text, see our Privacy Policy.

What data does Career Concierge see?

Only what it needs to build your application materials: your Career Concierge profile and resume, the job description for the role you are working on, and, when you generate application answers, the text of the questions on the form. The Chrome Extension reads job descriptions and application questions only on pages that are job listings or application forms. It does not read or send anything from other pages.

Who else sees my data?

To generate your documents, we send the relevant inputs to two AI providers through their APIs: OpenAI (match reports, tailored resumes, and application answers) and Anthropic (cover letters). Your account and generated documents are stored on Google Cloud (Firebase / Firestore), our hosting and database provider. Those are the only parties involved in handling your application data, each only to run the service. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and the Chrome Extension contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Under OpenAI's and Anthropic's API terms, the content we send is not used to train their models. Both providers may keep API data for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse, and then delete it. Neither shares your data outside of providing this service to us.

How long is it stored?

The documents the AI generates are saved to your Career Concierge account in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted in the European Union. They stay there until you delete them or close your account. Job page content cached by the Chrome Extension lives on your own device for up to 24 hours and is not kept on our servers.

How do I delete it?

You are in control. Delete individual resumes, cover letters, and answers from your account at any time, or remove your entire account and everything tied to it from your account settings.
